Mix est un projet commun entre une plasticienne, un écrivain et une graphiste. À partir de dessins et de photographies de Laurence Lagier, liés aux réseaux et à la temporalité, Brice Matthieussent a écrit une fiction: Lomo reticulens. J’ai conçu le livre partir de ces éléments, articulant les tons directs pour ce livre à 6 mains… Le livre est imprimé sur papier affiche, dont le recto est littéralement peint en bleu, jaune et rouge. La trichromie correspond aux couleurs des papiers et offre au regard les œuvres à travers ce spectre étrange. Les couvertures se succèdent et révèlent progressivement le titre. La couleur détermine entièrement l’ouvrage, dans son organisation, son encre, sa matière même, et donne à relire le contenu à travers son prisme vif.

Mix is a joint project between a visual artist, a writer and a graphic designer. Working with Laurence Lagier’s drawings and photographs related to networks and temporality, Brice Matthieussent wrote a fiction: Lomo reticulens. I worked around all of these elements to design the book, articulating spot colors for this book made with 6 hands. The book is printed on poster paper, the front of which is literally painted in blue, yellow and red. The three-color printing matches the colors of those specific papers and offers the work to the viewer through this strange spectrum. The covers follow each other, gradually revealing the title. Color defines the entire book, in its organization, its ink, its materiality, and offers the content throughout its bright prism.
